Since I have been on the Nuffield Scholarship, I have been reading a couple of books - one of which is The Cluetrain Manifesto written by Rick Levine, Doc Searles, Dave Weinberger, and Christopher Locke. Its a must.
Anyway number 29 of the Manifesto goes like this:
ELVIS said it best.

Its a fascinating book - especially as it was written so many years ago. This would be a definite when members join The Engaging Brand Book Club
By the way I am also reading Andrew Keen's book which is a staggering example of viral marketing and social media...
